Your bunch of Hornwort will be stems that are at least 6" long. Please note that due to its brittle nature, the bunch may contain shorter stems that will continue to grow if broken.
Hornwort is a versatile plant that can be used as a floating plant or an upright stem plant. Despite not having roots, it can produce rhizomes when planted, allowing it to attach to gravel for stability. Hornwort is a great addition to planted aquariums as it absorbs excess nutrients from the water, preventing algae blooms. It is an excellent choice for providing shelter for fry and baby shrimplets.
Growing requirements:
65-80 Degrees Fahrenheit
Low to medium light
Fast growth speed
Gets longer and greener with lower light, or reddish and more compact with higher light

DISCLAIMER - I have duckweed, and various snails in my tanks, I will try to shake them off, but you may get a hitchhiker or two. If you don't want snails in your tank, I would recommend a bleach dip for the plants. You can DM me for the instruction (or google, of course)
